This article applies to you if:
- You have received a charge from "Maya Mobile" on your credit card.
- You do NOT have a Maya Mobile account, and you are not familiar with our company.
What to do if you received an unauthorized charge
If you do not have an account with Maya Mobile and you are not familiar with us, then someone has used your credit card to fraudulently purchase services from us.
We take the security of our network and customer data very seriously, and we will immediately open an investigation into this abuse.
First, it is important that you protect yourself, your cards, and your personal data. We strongly recommend that you do the following immediately:
- Report the fraud to your credit card or banking provider.
- Cancel or replace the card so that it cannot be used for fraud on other websites.
- Update your passwords for sensitive services like online banking, credit card accounts, investment accounts, and email.
Report the fraudulent charge to Maya Mobile
When you report the fraud to your bank, we should receive a Notification of Fraud from the card network immediately, which will allow us to locate the fraudulent account.
In order to expedite the process, we would greatly appreciate if you can Report Credit Card Fraud by submitting a request to our Fraud Prevention Team.
You can also email fraud@maya.net directly with the details of the fraudulent charge.
